Reims est une ville riche en Histoire !
De nombreux lieux, musées ou tout simplement l’architecture des bâtiments le prouve encore aujourd’hui !
Saint Remi Museum
In the heart of the former Abbey, the Saint Remi Museum traces the different eras in the history of Reims through its archaeological and artistic collections. Gallo-Roman, Merovingian, Middle Ages, several themes can be explored.
Tour of Reims
Our tour guide Patrick, who speaks French, German, English and Dutch, will take you on a 2h or 3h tour of Reims. Several themes will be covered, including the destruction of the city during WW1 and Art-Deco architecture! Don’t hesitate to ask our guide lots of questions – he loves them !
The Palais du Tau
Built on the site of an ancient Gallo-Roman residence, it was originally an episcopal palace, and much later hosted the coronations of kings such as Charles X. It became a National Monument in 1907. It became a National Monument in 1907, but was unfortunately partly destroyed during the Great War. The walls survived to house the museum from 1972 onwards. Discover this magnificent palace, and end your visit with a “Sacres Royaux” workshop: children dress up and re-enact scenes from the coronation ceremony! I bet they’ll love it!
And end your stay with your head in the stars with a session at the planetarium and a treasure hunt in Reims with our partner Cap Orientation!
